Unfortunately, through our own experiences with mold, we found there was very little good advice or qualified people in this field. People who were willing to come and advise the procedure, problems, and solutions were unheard of. Due to poor grading, high moisture, and seepage; our home began to destroy our health. Our own home was affected by hidden toxic mold behind the finished basement walls which made my family and me very ill.
Several infections, migraines, colds and flu, and a lack of energy were weighing heavily on our health. A diagnosis of Fibromyalgia (associated with the mould type found in our home) followed. Upon this discovery, we couldn’t find anyone to answer our questions or help with our problem. As we gathered the proper information, training, and experience, more people kept asking for help. Today we receive many calls daily from concerned homeowners, and many commercial companies including CMHC, looking for help.
